De,ivering flags

Adams County Veterans Affairs Director Stan Clark is shown delivering over 700 flags to Vietnam veteran Larry Altoff. Altoff, who served in the USMC represents the Littlestown American Legion and Littlestown VFW, will assist with the placement of flags at nine cemeteries in and around the Littlestown, Mt. Joy, Mt. Pleasant and Union townships. A total of 9,000 flags will be placed on graves of veterans buried in Adams County prior to Memorial Day. One of the duties of the Adams County Veterans Affairs office is to assure American Flags are placed on all veterans' graves prior to Memorial Day throughout the county.
